Off Kilter Seal Vessel

I made this off-kilter vase on a day when I couldn’t decide between throwing a pot on the wheel or sculpting something. No plans, just working away til midnight on this chubster in the ceramics studio. 
You could put flowers or bonbons or stash your keys in here. Or just enjoy the weird angle for the weird angle’s sake. This chunkster will keep watch over whatever you choose to put in his burdensome pot. Plus I signed his butt (#trampstamp ?).
Vase is wheel thrown by yours truly, and I sculpted the harbour seal by hand. Glazed in Peking blue crackle with an ivory liner, oilspot glazed seal.
